Are you still dealing with dry winter skin?  Here in the USA we have had many snow storms this winter.  We tend to turn the heat up a little and take longer hotter showers.  Unknowingly this is usually the main reasons the skin drys in winter.  If you are like me, I am not going to give up my hot shower so to compensate for it's drying effect on the skin here is the trick.  Before you "dry" off your skin, rub lotion or a nice moisturizer over your body, and then dab off the excess water.  When you towel off your heated skin, the skin continues to loose moisture as it cools.  Putting lotion/moisturizer on warm wet skin, traps that moisture and helps to heal those dry cracked areas.  Don't forget your feet.

It won't be long before summer time is here.  I see many people with sun damaged skin.  People think that many of the spots they have are freckles, but in reality, most spots that resemble freckles are sun damage. Please wear your sunscreen while you are out enjoying the summer sun as well as out in the sun while enjoying the snow in winter!
